A Trojan is
just a program (or virus) that you place on another persons (the host, or victims)
computer, to allow you to control their computer, (by opening up one of their
ports and using a client and a server) without them even knowing what is happening! Some Trojans allow you to
have just some harmless fun, while others allow you to have even more control
over the victims computer than they do!
Some Trojans work differently than others, some better in specific areas, but most allow you to do things like explore the drives, upload\download files, delete things, take snap shots of the hosts screen, etc.
The best Trojan that I know of at the moment is SubSeven (Sub7), which has all of the features from above, and lots, lots more. The best known trojan would be the infamous Netbus. These are all available in my download section...
